The Leopards play host to Plainville in the first round of the Class 2-1A playoff Friday.

Plainville (5-4) defeated Washington County 41-12 on Friday night to earn the runner-up spot behind Smith Center. Smith Center (7-2) wrapped up its season with a 64-0 victory against winless Republic County.

On Thursday, Oberlin disposed of Leoti-Wichita County 62-14 to secure its playoff berth. The Red Devils got three TD runs in the first half from quarterback/running back Dayton Dreher and three TD runs from Chris Anderson and a long TD pass from Dreher to Anderson.
