Extension explores the 'food and mood' connection
Special to The Hays Daily News
Emotional eating can get the best of anyone and contribute to overeating, which can lead to obesity.
Learn more about mood and food at the free Extension educational program "Emotional Appetite: The Food and Mood Connection" at noon Monday at the Ellis County Extension office, 601 Main.
The program will discuss the differences between emotional hunger and physical hunger and identify factors associated with some specific food cravings.
Linda Beech, Ellis County Extension agent, will be the speaker.
Bring a lunch to enjoy during the program if desired. Beverages will be provided.
To ensure adequate supplies and materials, register by Friday by calling (785) 628-9430 or emailing email@example.com.
