K-25 project begins in Logan, Thomas counties

Beginning today, a road construction project to repave a portion of Kansas Highway 25 in Logan and Thomas counties is scheduled to begin.

The project begins at the east junction of U.S. Highway 40/K-25 and extends north 17 miles to Colby. The scope includes 3-inch mill and overlay of asphalt material along K-25.

During construction flaggers and a pilot car operation will guide one-lane traffic through the work zone during daylight hours. Delays of 15 minutes or less should be expected through the construction time frame.
