1 dead, 4 injured in Sunday shooting in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- An overnight shooting near downtown Wichita has left one person dead and four others wounded.

KAKE-TV (http://is.gd/PREDq1 ) reports that police found the gunshot victims while responding to the shooting around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. A crowd of people had gathered in the industrial area beforehand.

One shooting victim died at a hospital. The person's name wasn't immediately released.

Sgt. Jeff Swanson said two of the survivors are in critical condition, one is in serious condition and another has relatively minor injuries.

A police investigation is ongoing.
