Lyle Lovett to present acoustic show at Orpheum Theatre

Grammy winning singer Lyle Lovett will perform an acoustic show at Wichita's Orpheum Theatre on Sept. 7, venue officials said Thursday morning.

Lovett's acoustic group is made up of several members of his large band and perform reinvented arrangements of his songs.

Lovett performed at the Orpheum in 2010 and also as part of the Symphony in the Flint Hills the same year.

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 and will be $60, $65 and $69. They'll be available at www.selectaseat.com, by calling 316-755-7328, at the Intrust Bank Arena box office and at Select-A-Seat outlets.
