(MCT) One person died in a crash on Rock Road during the morning commute Thursday, authorities said.

The one-vehicle crash was reported at 7:10 a.m. at 1770 S. Rock Road in southeast Wichita, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said. That's just south of Harry.

The vehicle crashed into a drainage ditch next to Rock Road, the supervisor said. The motorist may have suffered a medical condition that caused the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
