Work on Waldron near hospital, clinic begins Monday

HTUCHINSON -- Work begins Monday on the next phase of the reconstruction of Waldron Street near Hutchinson Regional Medical Center and the Hutchinson Clinic.

During this week, the south hospital drive may have periods with construction flagmen and only one lane of traffic while a new storm sewer is installed across the drive.

Beginning Tuesday, Waldron from north of the south hospital drive to just south of the Hutchinson Clinic will be closed for reconstruction.

Visitors to the clinic are advised to use streets to the north or west. From the west, visitors can get to the clinic by taking 23rd Avenue from Lorraine to Fountainwood or Waldron, or by taking 20th Avenue from Lorraine to Fountainwood. From the north, visitors will be able to come straight down Waldron to reach the clinic's driveways.

The normal driveway to the Emergency Room at the hospital is closed, but the ER and hospital parking lots can still be reached by either the north or south hospital drives.
