Smith Center jumped out to a 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a 11-yard score from Grant Lambert, then Nick Lehmkuhl scored three second-quarter TDS from 4, 8, and 8 yards to put Smith Center up 27-0 by halftime.

The Redmen defense contained Sterling (4-6) to 111 yards of offense with no pass completions and had two interceptions.
