Topeka police conduct K2-related searches

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) -- Authorities have served eight search warrants at Topeka businesses that are suspected of selling synthetic marijuana known as K2.

Police said in a news release that the warrants served Tuesday morning are the result of a 10-month investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies. The searches temporarily shut the businesses down.

Police didn't immediately have details about arrests.
