Indian golfers honored by WAC

By The Hays Daily News

Dodge City swept most of the Western Athletic Conference awards in boys' golf, but Hays High School managed to take home a good share.

The Red Demons finished first in the WAC standings to win the league title for the third straight year, and their top five golfers took all five all-WAC honors.

Hays High placed second in WAC, and Kaden Beilman, Ryan Unruh and Payton Ruder earned three of the five all-WAC honorable mention honors.

Dodge City's sixth man and a Garden City golfer took the other two honorable mention honors. Dodge City's Zach Kirby was named Player of the Year, and Red Demons coach Jim Mapel earned coach of the year.
