Colby police arrest man hiding in garage
COLBY -- The Colby Police Department arrested the man who evaded them twice Wednesday afternoon after the man was found in a resident's garage.
A resident in the 1300 block of West Third in Colby saw Brandon Parson, 22, hiding in a garage at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a press release from Colby Police Chief Ron Alexander.
The subject evaded officers until he was seen again in the 1100 block of South Franklin, and he was arrested at approximately 8:30 p.m. east of the 1100 block of South Range Avenue.
Parson is held on warrants from Thomas County, and additional charges are pending. Colby police said in a statement Parson was not a threat to the community because he was not considered armed and dangerous.
