Retired physician named to HIT board
TOPEKA -- The Kansas Foundation for Medical Care has named a Hays resident to the 12-member board of trustees. Board members will serve three year terms.
Retired pediatric physician Dr. Robert H. Cox recently was named to the board.
"KFMC takes great pride in working with a diverse group of people representing all aspects of healthcare from clinical to consumer," said Kenneth Mishler, president and CEO. "The addition of these three board members helps round out a dynamic group of thought leaders from across the state and positions KFMC to continue as a leader in quality improvement and health information technology initiatives."
The KFMC Board of Trustees provides oversight for all KFMC activities and offers guidance in quality improvement and health information technology initiatives.
Dr. Jennifer Brull, Plainville, also serves on the board.
