Lightle named Nex-Tech Wireless president/CEO
Nex-Tech Wireless on Friday announced Jon Lightle has been named president and chief executive officer.
Lightle joined Nex-Tech Wireless in October 2011 as director of finance and operations. He has been responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance, budgeting and forecasting, carrier relations, business development including contract negotiations, collections, and supply chain management for Nex-Tech Wireless.
Before joining Nex-Tech Wireless, Lightle spent three years as chief financial officer for two independent local exchange carriers -- Endeavor Communications and LEACO Rural Telephone. Prior to that, he spent 24 years with Sprint in numerous management positions within their local telephone companies, cellular division and PCS operations. In addition to his communications background, Lightle is a CPA and spent three years working for Ernst & Young.

Lightle and his wife, Cindy, relocated to Hays from Greencastle, Ind., in 2011. He grew up south of Topeka and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting from Emporia State University. He received his certified public accountant certification from the state of Kansas and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kansas Society of CPAs. Cindy Lightle was raised in Wichita and graduated from Fort Hays State University, where she is now employed.
