Special to The Hays Daily News
Errol G. Wuertz Sr., broker/owner of Heartland Realty of Hays, recently was elected chairman of the Kansas Real Estate Commission.
The primary purpose of the Kansas Real Estate Commission is to protect the public interest in the real estate marketplace through the regulation of real estate brokers and salespersons.
These responsibilities are divided into three main categories -- licensing, education and enforcement of law. Wuertz also was elected to represent the commission on the Disciplinary Committee. The commission is made up of five members. Four are real estate brokers representing each congressional district, and the fifth commissioner is a member of the public.
