St. Francis man uninjured after plane crashes
ST. FRANCIS -- A fixed-wing single-engine aircraft went down Tuesday morning southeast of St. Francis, but its pilot was not injured.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Ricky Rue Rogers, 65, St. Francis, was piloting his aircraft when it suffered engine failure. Rogers attempted to land the aircraft on Cheyenne County Road 16 at approximately 9:20 a.m. The aircraft sustained damage, but Rogers was uninjured, according to the report.
