Local students to display artwork
By The Hays Daily News
Between 1,300 and 1,500 high school students from nearly 70 different schools from across the state will display their artwork at Wednesday’s High School Art Exhibition at Fort Hays State University.
The public will have the opportunity to view the artwork of numerous mediums from 10 a.m. to noon in Gross Memorial Coliseum.
The event, in its 40th year, is sponsored by the department of art and design at FHSU. Another event in connection with the art show is a sidewalk chalk drawing contest that begins at 10 in the quad, on the south side of Rarick Hall.
