K-State horticulture night is Thursday
Registration for the annual horticulture night at the Kansas State University Agricultural Research Center begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Events start at 6 p.m. and will include a look at local flower trial performance, how peppers and tomatoes performed, getting a tree established, the Hays lawn conversion program and turfgrass issues for western Kansas.
Activities then will move inside the center's auditorium for a free hot dog supper.
The event is open to the public.
