Simpson Farm Enterprises has been chosen as a sprayer dealer for Miller St. Nazianz Inc. Covering a market area surrounding their four Simpson Farm Enterprises locations in central Kansas, the Simpson team will provide sales and service support to Miller customers, both agricultural and commercial applicators. Jeff Boos, Miller territory manager, will work with all four Simpson locations to help them introduce Miller Nitro 5000 Series sprayers.

Steve Burd, program services director of LINK Inc., resigned his position effective Friday. He has been with LINK Inc. for 14 years. Effective Wednesday, Angie Zimmerman will be promoted to the position of program services director. Zimmerman joined LINK in 2006 as information and referral specialist and will continue those duties.

Jeff Seibel, a Hays financial adviser for the financial-services firm Edward Jones, recently met with legislators in Washington to seek legislation to increase savings and enhance retirement security. This is the 29th year for this effort -- making it one of the longest-running nationwide grassroots outreach efforts to Congress in existence. Seibel was one of 51 financial advisers chosen from among the firm's nearly 12,000 who lobbied on behalf of individual investors.
