Special to the HDN
A special Science Cafe at 7 p.m. Thursday at Gella's Diner, 117 E. 11th, will address the question "Has Global Warming Paused? Issues from the Latest IPCC Report."
The Science Cafe is sponsored by Fort Hays State University's Science and Mathematics Education Institute.
The cafe will update the audience on current research findings and allow people to "ask questions and join the discussion on the findings' implications," said FHSU physics professor Paul Adams.
The host will be John Heinrichs, chairman of the FHSU's Department of Geosciences. Admission is free.
