Santorum, Dean, Rove will speak at FHSU
Beginning this fall, Fort Hays State University will feature some of the most recognizable names in recent American political history as part if its Keith Sebelius Lecture Series this fall.
Two former presidential candidates -- Rick Santorum and Howard Dean -- are scheduled to appear Nov. 4 at Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center, presenting a lecture titled "The Proper Role of Government in a Free Society."
Dean is the former governor of Vermont and chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Santorum is a former Pennsylvania senator.
On Feb. 4, Republican strategist Karl Rove is scheduled to deliver the lecture "America's Challenges."
The series is named after former U.S. Rep. Keith Sebelius, a Norton native and 1941 graduate of FHSU and father-in-law of former governor Kathleen Sebelius.
