HDN sales staffers earn certification
Three longtime staff members of The Hays Daily News recently completed the HDS Virtanza Sales Training and Certification program.
Joleen Fisher, Sandra Harder and Eric Rathke successfully fulfilled all the requirements of the intensive, year-long program and became Certified Multimedia Advertising Consultants. The certification allows the sales team, with a combined 30-plus years experience, to better serve the Hays business community.
"Earning this level of certification was no small feat," said Editor and Publisher Patrick Lowry, "but the time spent will have tremendous benefit for advertisers."
The HDS Virtanza program is an interactive and comprehensive sales training and management coaching certification program. It teaches comprehensive assessment and market analysis that result in right-sized proposals tailored for clients. The Hays Daily News sales consultants will recommend the best advertising approach for customers, regardless of budget, that take advantage of all marketing channels.
As the Voice of the High Plains since 1929, The Hays Daily News provides the most effective mass media marketing capabilities in northwest Kansas. Advertisers are noticed in the printed newspaper, specialty magazines, online and on all mobile platforms.
