NOTICE OF PLACES AND DATES OF REGISTRATION
In compliance with the provisions of K.S.A. 25-2310 and 25-2311, notice is hereby given that the books for registration of voters in Ellis County, for U.S.D. 388 School District, will close at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th day of May, 2013, and remain closed until the day following the June 4, 2013, Bond Election.

A citizen of the United States who is 18 years of age or older, or will have attained the age of 18 at the next election, must register before he or she can vote.
When a voter has been registered according to law, the voter shall remain registered until the voter changes their address and/or name by marriage, divorce or other legal proceedings. The voter may re-register in person, by mail or other delivery when registration is open
Application forms will be provided by the Ellis County Election Officer upon request. That address and phone number is 1204 Fort Street, P.O. Box 720, Hays, Kansas 67601, 785-628-9410. All applications shall be signed by the applicant under penalty of perjury and returned to the Ellis County Clerk prior to the registration deadline.
Note: First time voters in Ellis County will be required to provide an acceptable form of U.S. Citizenship identification when registering to vote. Contact the Ellis County Clerk’s Office for further information.
