The big test
The big test
The way the White House and State Department mishandled the attack in Benghazi, Lybia, where four Americans died, is a scandal that is absolutely huge. Had this happened under Bush's watch, we could say with 100 percent certainty he would have been impeached.
Benghazi epitomizes the problem we have in this country with journalistic bias. The truth is, most in this country have no clue what this humongous scandal is all about and that is because Obama's mainstream liberal media has ignored it.
As you read me, keep in mind the overwhelming number of journalists that donate to Democrats and vote Democrat. Few vote Republican or donate to them.
No, Obama and Hillary will not pay a price "unless" media comes around. They got into the act grudgingly (kicking and screaming) during Clinton's sex scandal, but I don't have high hopes they will with Benghazi. Media sure didn't hold back on Nixon's Watergate, and it was media that forced him to resign, even though nobody died as with Benghazi.
There's lots for readers to know about Benghazi, especially since House hearings on May 8 opened a new can of worms. Don't expect liberal mainstream media like ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC or CNN, or most newspapers, or even Associate Press reporters in those newspapers, to give you what every American should know about the biggest government scandal of a decade and a half. Liberal media has been treating it as a non-story.
There were special forces standing by to go to Benghazi and save lives. They were told to stand down. Do nothing. Why? It's all coming to light if readers go to sources other than those mentioned above. What it boils down to is that two of the worst kinds of things came into play and led to the death of four great Americans. For one, Obama refused to admit the truth about radical Islamists attacking our consulate in Benghazi because it would hurt his re-election. Al-Qaeda was supposed to be on the run following Osama Bin Laden's demise but obviously wasn't. Obama was playing politics with American lives. The other was complete incompetence by him, Hillary and others under him. Ambassador Stevens, months prior to the attack, asked for more security. Secretary of State Hillary said she did not get those requests, but documents show otherwise.
Since day one, that being Obama's inauguration back in January 2009, media has not called for any accountability. The big, call it "huge," test in this "huge" scandal is -- will there be any accountability? Personally, I doubt it. No matter what Senate and House hearings uncover, unless media gets involved and informs the public, nothing will happen.
Freedom of press in America appears to be dead, just like those four Americans, however, now, more than ever, media has a chance to show their true colors. I, for one, will not hold my breath, as media probably stands down in this case as well to accommodate their president.
