McDonald's of North Hays, Russell and South Hays have announced the July crew member of the month awards. The recipients are: Alek Crawford, North Hays; Amanda Williams, Russell; and Ezequiel Vargas, South Hays.

Crew members nominate one employee from their particular restaurant for such characteristics as exceptional customer service, outstanding job performance, attendance, dependability, positive attitude, appearance, quality of work and team work. Award winners' names will be engraved on a plaque that will be displayed in each restaurant lobby. Each winner will receive an individual plaque and a $25 gift certificate.

Crawford has been a part of the McDonald's of North Hays since Sept. 18, 2012. He was promoted to crew trainer March 10. He was selected due to his strong work ethic, efficiency, motivation, helpfulness, professionalism, coaching abilities, personality, positive attitude, team work skills and friendliness. He previously received this award in June 2013.

Williams has been a part of the McDonald's of Russell team since April 12, 2012. She was selected due to her strong work ethic, motivation, personality, positive attitude, friendliness, efficiency, helpfulness and team work abilities.

Vargas became a part of the McDonald's of South Hays team April 2. He was selected due to his helpfulness, motivation, team work abilities, knowledge, personality, effectiveness, positive attitude, efficiency and strong work ethic.
