Even though there were repeat names in the winner's circle, the track continued to see new drivers check in. The always growing crowd was treated to some great racing from start to finish during the sixth night of racing action.

In the Road Runner Manufacturing Econos they had their largest field of the season. Bryan "The Hulk" Guyer took the early lead and never really looked back. The Baalmann family had a great night of racing by getting all three cars in the top four. The top four had some good side by side racing and had to pass tough cars of Joey Foster and Ray West. Top four was Buyer, Ryan Baalmann, Rocky Baalmann, Ron Baalmann

The Imca Sunoco Hobby Stocks came out of the first set of turns two and three wide back through the pack. Joey Snethen was the early leader but had some several fast cars on his tail. For the first half of the race the field remained two wide the whole time around the track. Richard Boon took the lead on lap five and had Curt Kennedy on his bumper the rest of the way. Collin Heim and Cody "Bam Bam" Graham tried every lane possible to get around the leaders. Boon took home his second feature win of the season. Top four for the Strutt Insurance Services Hobby Stocks were Boon, Kennedy, Heim, Graham

Just like last race the Karl Chevrolet Imca Sport Mods were the first feature of the night. Dustin Daniels had the lead by lap two and began to pull away. The field was bunched back up on lap five when the race went under a red flag for a nasty roll over on the back stretch. When we went back green "The Moneyman" Clay Money and Chris Heim had worked their way up to the top three. Jason Breeze and Andy Barton worked their way up from the back to round out the top five. This was Daniels third night in victory lane at Thomas County Speedway. In the Murfin Drilling Sport Mods the top four was Daniels, Money, Heim, Breeze

Bruce "The Moose" Plumisto was the outside pole sitter in the Imca Sunoco Stockcars. While in the lead he had two wide racing behind him the entire 20 lap feature. "The Flying Farmer" Jason Rogers was on Plumisto's shirt tails from lap 3 to the end of the race. Rogers tried to make several lines stick to get around Plumisto but was never able to make any of them stick. Tyler Tipton ran in a solid third place the entire race. Mike Meyers and "The Bullet" BJ Wagoner battled for several laps on the fourth place spot. Plumisto was the fifth different feature winner in the Imca Stockcars. Top four for the Sporer Land Development Stockcars were Plumisto, Rogers, Tipton, Meyers

The last race of the night was the Xtreme Motorsports Modifieds and they sure did put on one whale of a show. "Sweet" Wheat Lippelman and Todd Schwarz led the field to green. Lippelman and Schwarz raced side by side for the first seven laps until the loan caution came out. Mike "The Natural" Wadel quickly worked his way up to third from his eighth starting spot. On the restart he took a two for one special coming out of turn four and was the new race leader. On the next circuit around the track Nate Moore also grabbed a two for one move out of turn four to move up to second. The Morris brothers from Lamar, Colorado did a great job working their way through the field to round out the top four. Wadel claimed his fourth win of the season at the track. Wadel, Moore, Adam Morris, Matt Morris made up the top four.

The race season is quickly coming to a close with only two races left on the schedule. Make sure to mark your calendars to come out on August 4th at 7:00 p.m. with hot laps at 6:00 p.m.
