Forsyth Library gets new leader

Fort Hays State University's Forsyth Library has a new dean, Deborah M. Ludwig.

"I am very excited to join the faculty and staff of Fort Hays State University," said Ludwig. "FHSU is a dynamic learning environment with a library staff excited about change. It's a great time to be a Tiger."

She graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in English and a minor in chemistry, then proceeded to graduate library school at Texas Woman's University, Denton, where she received her Master of Library Science.

She was a catalog librarian at FHSU from 1988-1990. She has also worked at Adams State College, Alamosa, Colo.; Southern Peaks Library, Alamosa, Colo.; Kansas City Public Library, Kansas City, Kan.; Johnson County Community College, Overland Park; and the University of Kansas, Lawrence.
