Parents of the couple are William and Lynn Dowling, Hays, and Bryan and Ruth Grosscup, Lincoln, Neb.

Grandparents of the couple are Robert and Joan Malir, Wilson, Buford and Jane Grosscup, Lincoln, Maurece Hunzeker, Humboldt, Neb., the late Edgar and Marcia Dowling, and the late James Hunzeker.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Christine Dowling, Manhattan, sister of the bride. Attendants were Cassie Banion, Shawnee, Tawni Wagner and Renee Appleby, both of Wichita, Melissa Pinkney and April Tiernan, both of Hays, and Gretchen Redhage, Perth, Australia, sister of the groom. Personal attendant was Lauren Dowling, Kansas City, sister-in-law of the bride.

Best man was Ben Polly, Denver, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were were Blake Loper, Omaha, Neb., Travis Rohlfing, Ottawa, Kevin Cahill, Shawnee, Thomas Dowling, Kansas City, Andrew Dowling, Fairway, and Anthony Dowling, Houston, both brothers of the bride.

Ushers were Troy Fosler, Los Angeles, and Shawn Redhage, Perth, brother-in-law of the groom.

Flower girl was Hayley Redhage, Perth, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Will Holtzman, Olathe.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was at Ramada, Hays.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and a 2007 graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in music education. She completed a master of music degree with a concentration in voice performance at the University of Kansas in 2013.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Lincoln East and a 2006 graduate of the University of Nebraska with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed as an engineer by Black and Veatch, Overland Park.
