HASTINGS, Neb. --  The Fort Hays State University women's soccer team opened its season with a 4-4 draw against Hastings College on Sunday in Hasting, Neb.

The Tigers, in their fourth year of existence, are coming off a 7-8-3 season after going 14-7-1 in 2012. The team graduated only one senior, midfielder Amanda Talbott, who tied for the team lead with four goals and two assists last season. She tied with Dani Harris, the team's top returner, an MIAA third-team selection as a sophomore last year.

The women's team will continue its early exhibition schedule at 11 a.m. Saturday when it hosts Kansas Wesleyan at the FHSU Soccer Stadium.
