May 05--A Valley Center man was hurt when his motorcycle crashed on I-235 Sunday night, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported.

Robert D. Holt, 51, was ejected at about 8:20 p.m. Sunday when his motorcycle left the bypass just south of K-96 and struck a guardrail, according to a report issued by the highway patrol.

He was taken to Via Christi St. Francis in potentially serious condition. Investigators aren't sure why Holt's 2006 Harley Davidson left the road and struck the guardrail.
