WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Wichita State University has chosen a new dean for its College of Engineering.

The university on Tuesday announced the hiring of Royce Bowden, effective Jan. 14. Bowden has been associate dean for academic affairs at Mississippi State University's Bagley College of Engineering since 2011.
