Wichita police investigate baby's death

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) -- Police in Wichita are investigating the death of a baby at a south Wichita home.

KAKE-TV reports (http://bit.ly/16bXGp7 ) officers were called to the home Monday afternoon. A 24-year-old man told police he had taken a nap while holding the 5-month-old baby. He said the baby was dead when he woke up. Police are investigating the nature of the death.

Officers also took a 3-year-old child at the home into protective custody.
