Work release inmate doesn't return to Lyon County

EMPORIA, Kan. (AP) -- Authorities in eastern Kansas are searching for an inmate who didn't return from a work release program.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Department says 34-year-old Justin Neighbors was allowed out of the Lyon County Jail on work release and did not return Friday as expected.

KSHB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1fjiDnx ) that records show Neighbors was incarcerated on drug charges.

Authorities say Neighbors is 5'11", 165 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes.
